Hanna Pajala-Assefa is an artist-researcher working in the intersection of contemporary performance art and mediated technology. She has an extensive career in contemporary choreography and arts production. Since 2013, she has worked with interactive audiovisual media and virtual technology, and taught and curated content in new-media performing arts. She has been part of interdisciplinary projects such as Moving Digits with both academic and artistic outcomes and presented work in academic conferences, MoCo, Nofod and Artech. She is currently doing artistic research at the Helsinki Arts University on mediated, digital choreography.
